YDYO Fest
At the first-ever YDYO Fest event this year, students from the School of Foreign Languages showcased their foreign language skills through presentations, quizzes, videos, posters, art, and music activities. The event took place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, and lasted all day. It was held simultaneously at the Biga and Main campuses, moderated by YDYO faculty members with the participation of our students. Prizes were awarded to students who excelled in the presentation and video categories, provided technical support, and served as hosts. The event concluded with a raffle where surprise gifts were given out.
Event Schedule
- 10:00-11:00: Presentations
- 11:00-11:30: Break
- 11:30-12:30: Video Screenings
- 12:30-13:30: Lunch Break
- 13:30-14:30: Quizzes (Awards were given to the winning students)
- 14:30-15:15: Poster Exhibition and Talks in the Foyer Area
- 15:15-17:00: Art and Music
(A raffle was held during this event, and gifts were given to the participants.)
We extend our gratitude to the Assistant Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Instructor Dr. Gökhan Hınız, who coordinated the event; Instructor Seçil Emeklioğlu, who organized the choir and drama activities; Instructor Gülay Erdem, who trained the choir and Instructor İpek Eker, who worked with Seçil Emeklioğlu in procuring and distributing student gifts. We also thank all the academic staff of the School of Foreign Languages for their support of the students' work.
