"Our Preparatory Department, along with English Language Teaching and English Literature students, orchestrated a delightful and enriching cultural activity as part of the Writing Course! Under the guidance of our instructors Sibel Ümit and Diba Şentürk, 40 students participated in the 'Çanakkale's Historical and Cultural Values' themed event, where we embarked on a journey to the centuries-old historical sites.
During the event, we visited the Troy Museum, the Ancient City of Troy, and the Ancient City of Assos. Our students immersed themselves in an emotional journey intertwined with history at these ancient sites, bearing witness to the profound past of our region.
This activity not only increased our students' awareness of the historical and cultural heritage of our region but also supported their academic achievements by allowing them to express their experiences in written and spoken English, aligning with their English lessons.
